“The Lord Jesus Christ Remains Your Good Shepherd!”
“Action speaks louder than words.” Ironically we base our judgments on words alone. That is why grassfield wisdom holds that “the master hardly recognises and appreciates the love expressed to him by a dog without a tail.”
“The Jews gathered around Jesus saying, ‘How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.’ Jesus answered, ‘I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father’s name speak for me.'”
Earlier on Jesus had spoken words concerning his sacrificial love which brought confusion among the Jews. “Many of them said, ‘He is demon possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?’ But others said, ‘These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?'”
Jesus is neither ashamed nor afraid to boast about his Father who is the source of his authority and power (Jn.10:17-25). In the same way we should neither be ashamed nor afraid to believe in him in word and deed.
He is the good shepherd who laid down his life for you and I! Do not doubt his saving grace – even when troubles assail. He is the same today, yesterday and always!
Prayer: Holy Spirit strengthen my unwavering faith and belief in Jesus Christ notwithstanding the circumstances. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
