“Strive To Be Amongst The Remnant!”
Ideas which eventually become a group’s decision come from individuals; and mostly at night. Before it is ever said, “we have decided that…,” it is first of all what an individual has decided. Most times such evil warped-up minds get it their way, then they sit back and say, “We have done it!” A dong show yi say na me dey in control!”
Unfortunately nemesis never fails! One day their evil must surely catch up with them! We serve a God of justice who notes all that we do and is waiting for a day of reckoning.
What men plan is in opposition to God’s plan. God says, “Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning light they carry it out because it is in their power to do so. They covet fields and sieze them, and houses and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance.”
God is planning dissaster against such people and they can’t escape! Such dissaster will definitely ruin those possessors of ill-gotten wealth!
However, there is goodnews and hope for the disenfranchised remnant. The Lord says, “I will surely gather all of you…I will surely bring together the remnant…I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in a pasture…”
My friend, when you lie down on your bed, think only pure thoughts which will be beneficial to others. Do not think of anything that when you execute in the morning it brings tears to eyes of some! Do what is right before God and do it with the fear of him who has given you authority, power or wealth!
And to you my other friend, God’s promises are sure. Be of good cheer because the one who breaks open the gate, the king who is the Lord Jesus Christ is at your head. (Mi.2:1-5&12-13). Tears and sorrow have no place again! Weeping may have lingered for the night but joy has come with the morning!
Prayer of the week: Heavenly Father thank you for Jesus Christ the promised Deliverer. Holy Spirit help me to think only good thoughts about others. Amen!
