“Sing To The LORD…!”(Ex.15:19-21).
Each victory brings joy to the heart and most times such joy finds expression through songs. We do not pray for God to drown our enemies as he did with Pharaoh and his chariots to score victory for the Israelites.
We cannot wish for the death of others, because “all lives matter!” However, life is a constant battle, not against fellow humans, but against principalities and powers. Each time we score some victory over the diabolic attacks of the devil, we should celebrate with songs of victory.
To celebrate with songs of victory is to sing to the source of our victory. Yes, my people say when you pick a shell of kolanut you should look up to see if thete is a kolanut tree.
“…All good things around us come from heaven above…”
Take a cursory look at your life, it will surprise you what God in Christ has done for you.
In Jesus Christ we are overcomers! Let us “Sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted…”
Prayer of the week: Lord we sing songs of praises to you because you are the source of our victories over the schemes of the devil. Amen!
Welcome back to a new working week! Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
