“Keep It Within The House!”(I Cor.6:1-6).
My people say the roof of a house covers many issues. What they mean is that there is no problem free home. When we get to know the problems inherent in some supposedly peaceful families, we get taken aback.
But in all these, families look for ways of solving their cases within family circles. Nieghbours and friends are often embarrased when in rare cases matters get out of hand and the case goes to court.
A congregation of Christians is one big family of faith. It is not expected to be free of problems, but differences should be treated in-house.
People of the secular society should admire what we are and want to become part of our Christian family. But if we take our cases to them to provide solutions, they wouldn’t see any reason why they should become part of our family.
The Christian family should stand on a moral higher ground; being able to settle their disputes when they do arise. We have enough wise people within the community of faith who are matured enough to arbitrate over disputes. Let us show the world that we are competent to judge them by settling our disputes within the Christian family.
Prayer of the week: Holy Spirit guide us so that as a Christian family we should learn to settle our disputes within the family. Amen!
Welcome back to a new working day and week! Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
