“Get Ready For The Song of Moses And The Song Of The Lamb!”
We conclude this weeks focus on praises to God today. Our passage is a foretaste of the heavenly choir and their songs of praise. Those who qualify to be given musical instruments by God are the saints who have won the victory over the devil. The great song is “the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb.
The song of Moses was sung on Sabbath evenings in the synagogue to celebrate Israel’s great deliverance from Egypt. And the song of the Lamb is about how the risen Lord triumphed over his enemies – including death – and secured spiritual deliverance for his followers.
Indeed, great and marvellous are the deeds of the Lord God Almighty. His ways are just and true. He alone is holy and his righteous acts have been revealed (Rev.15:2-4).
Oh yes; even today his righteous acts are being revealed. Many have died around you and are still dieing, but this is you reading this. Many are dieing because they can’t breath, but this is you breathing freely! Thank the Lord God Almighty for your life this day. God’s grace is still locating you, not because you are perfect. It is because in his mercy he wants you to win the victory over the devil so that wgen the time comes you too will be given the harp to sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb!
Weekend prayer: Lord Jesus Christ hold my hand and draw me closer so that I should win the victory over the beast and his image. Amen!
