“Continue In Your Faith, Established And Firm!”(Col.1:21-23).
There is this Mungaka hymn,“A bim ba wò nku’ mbed?…Ba la’ dzi no ñtshu’ sa’.” “Who are those who accepted but later on refused?… We shall know on judgment day.”
It is not everyone that runs the race gets to the finish line. God has reconciled us through the death of Christ to present us “holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation – if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from tbe hope held out in the gospel.” This is the good news which should not for any reason be compromised.
Therefore, let us continue in our faith, established and firm and we shall be inheritors of the mansions which the Lord Jesus Christ has prepared for us in heaven(Jn.14:1–11). Simply put, stand firm to the end; no matter what!
Sunday prayer: Holy Spirit help me not to compromise the gospel of my salvation. Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
Rev Babila Fochang.
